My old chum Sari-Sar invited me to the movies on Sunday, but not to see one of the many current films. She invited me to a classic film festival. We saw a favorite for both of us...Gone With The Wind.
I have seen the movie many times but never on the big screen. What a treat! It was great seeing it with an audience, laughing at Scarlett and Rhett's memorable lines. Outright laughing out loud at Mammy's facial expressions and little jabs at everyone! That movie definitely takes you on a range of motions, I swear at the end I'm always so bummed with Rhett leaving Scarlett and such (I hope I didn't ruin the ending for anyone!)

Something really funny happened at the end though, at least for me....this one lady a little down from us was literally sobbing the last 30 minutes...I mean pull it together lady, jeez!

Hey, Miss Rachi!
Thanks for going with me! LOVE that movie! You know you were BAWLING at the end of the movie. Haha...
Anyhow, WHERE did that picture come from? B/c it is my recollection that Scarlett and Rhett NEVER embraced like that when she was wearing that dress. That's the infamous "lady-in-red-at-Ashley's-birthday-party" dress. Rhett certainly wasn't embracing her that nice--well, at least not when she was wearing that dress.
I am such a GWTW dork.
Have you seen Pride & Prejudice?? I am starting to become obsessed with that movie.
I need some romance, dammit!
I found the picture when searching for GWTW photos on Google. I loved the picture even though it wasn't in the movie. Don't be a hater! LOL
