I forgot what it was like to be genuinely happy

Wow, it's been a while since I've blogged. I have been so down for so long and haven't been myself, which is scary, b/c if you know me you know that I am a really upbeat person. So this depression crap has been for the birds. Today is the first day in two months that I didn't feel like sleeping all day or just sitting around like a zombie. It's like the clouds opened up, and the sun shined down on my face. So those of you who have been worried about me, please don't be anymore. I feel great, the weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I have something to smile about now. Thanks to everyone for their advice and words of encouragement!

Now back to your regularly scheduled blogging

Rachi! I'm sorry you've been down--we should hang out sometime and bitch about life.
Have you been working a lot? I have and that is always somewhat depressing.
This has been a shitty summer for me, and it appears your summer has been shitty too.
I hope you are pulling out of it!!

Hey Sari...things are back to normal with me and yes this has been a "shitastic" summer for me too. What happened to those care free summers of our youth??? Being a grownup is tough :( Sometimes we have to make hard choices, not because their easy but b/c they are right. And I had to make one of those choices, and life is sooo much better because of it. Believe I'm doing good :) Thanks for being a good friend.

The only positive things that came out of this summer for me were 1) I got a tan and 2) I got to FINALLY use the word "clusterfuck" in an appropriate situation. The situation was not fun, but using the word was great.
